Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") sets the rules for how you may use Intako ("Intako", "we", "us"), including our AI workflow generation feature. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By creating an account or using Intako, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Intako.

1. This is a binding agreement

This Policy is a binding contract between you and Intako. You confirm your agreement by ticking the consent box when you create your account and by continuing to use the service. If you use Intako on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept this Policy for that business, and "you" includes that business.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this contract.

2. What the AI feature is for

Intako's AI generates client intake forms and workflows from your description. It is a purpose-built business tool, not a general-purpose chatbot. You agree to use the AI only to create and improve intake forms, qualification logic, deposit and booking steps, response pipelines, summaries, and related follow-up for your own legitimate business.

3. Prohibited uses

You must not use Intako, the AI feature, or any content it produces, to do, enable, or attempt any of the following:

  • Anything illegal, or anything that promotes, facilitates, or instructs illegal activity, in any jurisdiction that applies to you.
  • Fraud, scams, phishing, or deceptive collection of information, including forms that misrepresent who you are or how data will be used.
  • Creating content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or that exploits, sexualises, or endangers minors.
  • Collecting information you have no lawful right to collect, or sensitive data (such as health, financial, biometric, or government-ID data) without a valid lawful basis and proper disclosures.
  • Infringing anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Malware, spam, denial-of-service, or anything that harms, overloads, probes, or disrupts the service or other users.
  • Using the AI as a general-purpose model for tasks unrelated to building intake workflows (for example essays, code, homework, or open-ended chat), or reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing access to the AI.
  • Attempting to bypass, disable, or defeat safety measures, rate limits, or usage limits; jailbreaking, prompt-injecting, or trying to extract, copy, or reverse-engineer our system prompts, models, or software.
  • Automating, scripting, scraping, or bulk-generating output beyond normal interactive use, or sharing your account to exceed plan limits.

4. Your responsibility for what you create

You are solely responsible for the prompts you enter, the forms you build, the data you collect, and how you use any AI output. AI output may contain errors, so you must review it before publishing or relying on it. You are responsible for telling your form respondents how their data will be used and for having a lawful basis to collect it.

5. Monitoring, limits, and fair use

We may set and change reasonable usage limits (for example, how many workflows you can generate) based on your plan, to keep the service fast and affordable for everyone. We may log and review usage, including AI prompts, to operate the service, enforce this Policy, and detect and prevent abuse, in line with our Privacy Policy. We may retain limited records of suspected abuse for as long as needed to investigate and act on it.

6. Consequences of breaking these rules

If we reasonably believe you have broken this Policy, we may take any of the following steps, with or without notice, and choose the response that fits the seriousness of the breach:

  • Throttle, restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate your access or account.
  • Remove or disable offending content, forms, or generations.
  • Withhold or, where the law allows, forfeit prepaid fees for an account terminated for a serious or repeated breach. Fees are otherwise non-refundable.
  • Recover from you the costs and damages your breach causes us, including additional AI and infrastructure costs from abuse or automated overuse, and any chargeback, fine, or third-party claim that results.
  • Report activity to our AI providers, payment processor, or law enforcement where we are required to, or where it is necessary to protect people, other users, or the service.

These rights are in addition to any other remedy available to us under the Terms of Service or the law. Not enforcing this Policy in one case does not waive our right to enforce it later.

7. Reporting abuse

If you see something on Intako that breaks this Policy, tell us at abuse@intako.net and we will review it.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the service and the law evolve. If we make a significant change, we will give reasonable notice (for example, by email or a notice in the app). The "last updated" date above always shows the current version. Continuing to use Intako after a change means you accept the updated Policy.

Plain-language note: this document is written to be easy to read and is provided as a general template. It is not legal advice. Before you rely on it for a live business, have a lawyer review it against your actual operations and local laws.
