Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Intako ("Intako", "we", "us") when you use our website and software. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Intako.

1. What Intako does

Intako lets you describe your client intake in plain language and turns it into a working workflow: a form, qualification logic, deposit and booking steps, a response pipeline, summaries, and follow-up. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
  • You're responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your password safe.
  • You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, so let us know right away if you think someone else has access to it.

3. Acceptable use

When using Intako, you agree not to:

  • Break the law, or use the service to collect information you have no right to collect.
  • Send spam, malware, or attempt to hack, overload, or disrupt the service.
  • Reverse-engineer, resell, or copy the service except as allowed by these terms.
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or infringes someone else's rights.

Your use of Intako, including the AI workflow generation feature, is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, especially where it protects other users or the service.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the forms, questions, files, and responses you create or collect ("your content"). You give us the limited permission we need to host, process, and display your content so we can run the service for you, for example storing submissions and generating summaries. You're responsible for having the right to collect and use the data your forms gather.

5. Payments and plans

  • Free plans are offered as-is and may have limits that change over time.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Fees and the billing period are shown before you subscribe, and you can cancel anytime from your account settings.
  • Payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we don't store your full card details.
  • If you take deposits or payments from your own clients through Intako, those funds and any disputes are between you and your client, and you are the merchant of record.
  • Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where you have a statutory right to a refund or cancellation (for example, a consumer cooling-off right), which we honour.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Your paid features stay active until the end of the current billing period, and we won't charge you again after that. We may suspend or end the service for an account that violates these terms.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep Intako running, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and occasionally things break. We're not liable for downtime, but we'll do our best to fix issues quickly.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Intako is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

The AI features generate suggestions to help you build your workflows. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, so you are responsible for reviewing and editing anything it produces before you publish or rely on it. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make a significant change, we'll give reasonable notice (for example, by email or a notice in the app). Continuing to use Intako after a change means you accept the updated terms.
